
What We Do
The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program is a nationwide volunteer program for individuals 55 and older. RSVP of Clinton County matches the talents and skills of the volunteers with local public and non-profits to meet the needs of the community. RSVP’s mission is to improve live, strengthen communities, and foster civic engagement through service and volunteering.
Our Mission
The mission of RSVP of Clinton County is to promote the engagement of individual’s age 55 and older to contribute to their communities through significant volunteer service, to provide a high quality experience that will enrich the lives of the volunteers, and to provide communities with valuable services to meet the unmet community needs.

What We’ve Achieved
The following stats were taken from our 2024 grant cycle:
AARP tax volunteers saved community members on average $200 for tax preparation.
Spent over 1,000 hours delivering meals to individuals who are homebound in Clinton.
PLARN spent over 2,000 hours making homeless sleeping mats, bags, hats and scarves
SHIIP saw 523 clients during open enrollment and saved them $559,399 by helping them navigate their part D plans.
Holiday Network served 284 families with food boxes, socks, underwear, and toys.
Holiday Network served 784 children through our community.
Volunteers who help out with information and referral participated in mobile food pantries and their backpack program.
